- All courses required for admission must be completed with a “C” or better
- Completion of pre-entrance examination
Please note that these are minimum requirements for admission to the BS Degree Nursing Program. This does not guarantee admission to the BS degree program.
The BS nursing course of study is designed to be completed in 8 semesters. The RN-BS course of study has been set up to allow the RN student to graduate in 3 to 4 semesters. Individual students may complete a program of study in a different time frame, but there are limitations.
The practicum portion of the curriculum provides clinical experiences in nursing care activities with clients across the lifespan. These experiences take place in hospitals and other clinical agencies primarily in North Central and Northwest Indiana. Students must provide their own personal transportation to the assigned practicum sites.
