Mission Statement

The Technology Help Desk is the central point of contact for Information Services.  Once contacted, we will assist you with all your technology needs.  We are committed to providing the best quality computer software, hardware, network, e-mail and A/V support services possible. We do so in an atmosphere of courtesy, professionalism, and respect toward every individual in the PNC community, with an emphasis on providing education to enhance each person’s knowledge for problem resolution.

Services We Provide

Let the Technology Help Desk be Your One-Stop Technology Empowerment Center! We are your first point of Contact for your computing needs!

  • Central point of contact to request general assistance from Information Services
  • Assistance with access to the campus network, e-mail, and antivirus information
  • Answers to basic hardware, software, A/V and network related questions
  • Information regarding new accounts or passwords
  • Status of outstanding trouble tickets
  • Referrals to other sources for specific assistance

You may request assistance in person from a technical assistant on duty during our normal business hours.

If you are in need of after hours support, please submit a trouble ticket online.
We will get back to you within 24 hours. Otherwise, please leave a voicemail message at 219-785-5511. Please include your username, name, phone number, and a brief description of the problem you are experiencing. Check here for a listing of our hours of operation.

Automatic email message alerts when PNC’s IT services are not operating as expected are available to faculty, staff and students.  Individuals can subscribe to alerts for services most important to them on the PNC Systems Monitor page.  Subscribe to Outage Alerts today!
