The Office of Graduate and Extended Learning at Purdue University North Central will be offering “Acrylic Painting for Beginners,” a non-credit personal enrichment program for which registration is now open, at PNC’s Porter County campus in Valparaiso beginning on November 4th. This weekly workshop, which will run weekly through December 2nd, will be taught by PNC faculty Connie Kassal and will take place on Monday mornings from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. CST. The registration fee of $149.00 per person includes reference materials, as well as all required supplies and materials. These include paint, brushes, canvases, canvas paper and more. Individuals must be 13 years of age or older to enroll. The deadline to register is Friday, October 25th at 4:00 p.m CST.
Participants should plan to provide their own painting aprons or appropriate painting attire. In this class, they will discover creative ways to use acrylic paints while also learning basic concepts and techniques of painting.
