Lara Uriadko

  • Scholastic Honors
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Biology
  • Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine

During her time at PNC, Lara was quite active and participated in a variety of activities.  However, her dream has always been to attend veterinary school, become a veterinarian and practice small-animal and equine medicine.  Lara knew she had to keep up her grades in order to achieve it.  While maintaining a 4.0 average at PNC, Lara worked for a veterinary practice, enjoyed horseback riding and competed in shows.

During the summer of 2006, Lara traveled to Utah to participate in Dr Rich Hengst’s dinosaur dig.   All the while, her perfect grade-point average kept her a constant feature on PNC’s scholastic honors list.

Laura recently graduated with her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and will continue her education at the Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine in West Lafayette.  A very competitive program, in 2006, there were 560 applicants.  Lara was one of just 69 students accepted for admittance.
