The Student Success Center staff is interested in your academic future. We have designed our services to help you reach your academic goals. Whether you are a first-year student or graduating senior, whether you are struggling with classes or on the Dean's List, we have something for you. You have an open invitation to come see us. Our professional and student staff are here to guide you to academic excellence!
Mission Statement:
PNC's Student Success Center offers academic support services to all PNC students. Tutoring services, academic and study skills development, and academic guidance are provided through seminars, workshops, individual appointments, and group study sessions to support and challenge our students as learners. The Student Success Center maintains collaborative relationships across campus, supports the instructional objectives of the faculty, and advances the educational and retention efforts of Purdue University North Central.
Our Goals Are:
- To assist students in becoming more independent, self-confident, and efficient learners
- To improve the academic performance of all learners
- To promote student retention at the university and subsequent graduation
- To provide individualized and group assistance
- To offer resources to faculty concerned with improved student learning
- To provide an array of services that are proactive in nature
- To provide a place where faculty can refer students who are in need of assistance
- To provide help in developing study skills
- To work collaboratively with other student services offices
