The Journal of Undergraduate Social Science Research

The Journal of Undergraduate Social Science Research is a scholarly, faculty-reviewed online journal of student research published annually by the Department of Social Sciences at Purdue University North Central. 

The journal publishes original essays and projects from all department disciplines:

  • Child Development and Family Studies

  • Interdisciplinary Studies
  • Latin American and Latino Studies
  • Philosophy
  • Political Science
  • Psychology
  • Social Work
  • Sociology
  • Women’s Studies

Faculty who wish to nominate student work and students who want to submit their own work for consideration should forward their projects to mconnolly@pnc.edu. Submissions are blind-reviewed by two faculty members and recommendations made to the Journal Editorial Committee. Authors whose work is accepted for publication may be required to revise and resubmit their work.
