Minor in History

The minor in history will enrich a student’s educational experience by allowing them to explore historical topics, engage with different views of the past, and develop their own interpretations of history through an analysis of primary and secondary sources.  This minor is available to students completing a major in any area.

Academic Requirements:

Students wishing to complete a history minor should work with a historian in the Department of Social Sciences to develop a cohesive plan of study.  Students will successfully complete five courses in history, four of which must be at the 30000 level or above.
