Veterans Club Scholarships
The Veterans Club offers scholarships open to veteran students enrolled at Purdue University. Recipients will be identified at the annual Veteran’s Day Event.
Award: A one-time $500 Scholarship; must write an 800 word minimum essay on the reasons the College Veterans Club is important. Up to four winners will be awarded and a selected essay will be presented as a speech at the Veteran’s Day Event at Purdue University North Central. Veterans Scholarship Application
Award: A one-time $1000 Scholarship; must write an essay on what it means to take care of America’s Veterans and the reasons we should. The selected applicant must deliver the speech at the Veteran’s Day Event at Purdue University North Central. The speech should be 10 minutes in length and typing is required. The fall 2013 Veteran’s Day Event is scheduled for Monday, November, 11, 2013 at 11 am.
Eligibility Criteria includes:
- The Veterans Club Scholarships are restricted to veteran students that have completed a minimum of twelve credit hours at Purdue University North Central.
- Recipients must be registered for the fall semester and enrolled in a minimum of six credit hours.
- Students must have a Graduation Index of 2.5 or higher.
