As the director of
the sSs program, Gail has oversight and management
of the program and the program funds. She is the key
spokesperson for the sSs program. Gail also
facilitates various workshops, assists participants
in leadership development activities, serves on
several university committees along with a variety
of other activities geared toward our participants
academic success.
Gail received her Bachelor of
Arts/Elementary Education in 1995 and her Master of
Science/Counseling degree from Purdue University
Calumet in 2000. Gail has served as academic
coordinator and program coordinator from 1996-2000;
she was appointed director of sSs on July 1, 2000.
Before joining the professional side of sSs, she
came into the program in 1990 as a first generation
college student and was a participant in the program
from 1990 – 1995.
