Event Screen FAQs:Screenshot of welcome screen

Q:  What is the purpose of the Event Screens?
A:  The purpose is to inform students, faculty, staff and guests of events occurring on campus.

Q:  How do I get my event posted on the daily events screen?
A:  Post your event to the Campus Calendar of Events by at least 2:00 PM the day before the event. Only events posted to the Campus Calendar of Events by this time will be on the daily events screen.

Q:  I have a special group coming to campus. How do I get a “Welcome” screen?
A:  We can welcome a special group to campus with at least 48 hours notice. Send your e-mail request to Mary Bucy at mbucy@pnc.edu and copy Liz Depew at edepew@pnc.edu.

Q:  I would like to advertise my event to campus prior to the day of the event. Is that possible?
A:  Yes, a special screen can be created for your event. These special screens require 48 hours notice for creation.  The event must be posted to the Campus Calendar of Events. The special screen will run a maximum of two days prior to the event. For example, if your event is on Friday, the special screen will run Wednesday and Thursday of the same week and then will be on the daily events screen on Friday.
Send your e-mail request to Mary Bucy at mbucy@pnc.edu and copy Liz Depew at edepew@pnc.edu.
*Please note: There are only a limited number of special screens available each day. To guarantee a screen, start planning early.
