Mission
The Faculty Professional Advancement Committee (FPAC) is a group of faculty members, representing all instructional areas at Purdue North Central, who are dedicated to the mission of improving the quality of education.
Our mission statement is:
"To promote excellence in teaching and scholarship by providing opportunities for self initiated learning by all faculty who seek to enhance their effectiveness."
Effective teaching and scholarship will enhance the learning experiences of our students who, as graduates, will be better prepared as lifelong learners.
Vision
Communication
To promote the sharing of information, skills, and resources among colleagues. To encourage cross campus peer interaction. To continuously be in touch with the needs and interests of the faculty.
Coordination
To serve as a focal point for the dissemination of information relating to classroom issues, teaching methods, and scholarship opportunities among faculty.
Faculty Learning
To coordinate workshops, mini courses, forums, colloquiums, and other learning activities requested by faculty to foster professional excellence.
Scholarship
To support and encourage independent faculty initiatives and research that promotes academic professionalism.
