Campus Resources Available to Faculty
Outdoor Recreational Facilities
Tennis courts, basketball court, a soccer practice area and a baseball/intramural sports diamond are in the sports complex at the south end of campus. In addition, there are eight walking/jogging trails and nature trails. Trail maps are available in each building or may be requested by calling the Physical Plant at ext. 5347.
Fitness Center
An exercise room in LSF 77 for students, faculty and staff features a variety of exercise equipment. Hours and equipment use procedures are posted, and a daily or semester fee is charged.
Locker and Shower Rooms
These rooms are across the hall from the Fitness Center. Check with the Fitness Center supervisor for information on using them.
Tickets to Purdue Athletic Events
Purdue University North Central faculty may purchase tickets for Purdue-West Lafayette athletic events by contacting the main campus athletics ticket office: Purdue University Athletic Ticket Manager, Mackey Arena, West Lafayette, 47907. Call 1-800-497-7678.
Health/Wellness Programs

The Wellness program offers a variety of activities and support groups which encourage healthy living. Program offerings include blood chemistry and blood pressure screening, support groups, smoking cessation classes, stress relief strategies, yoga instruction, aerobics classes, CPR classes, personalized fitness programs, flu shots, and healthy lunch and learn sessions.
Child Care Service
(LSF 135, Ext. 5242) The Child Care Service operates during Fall and Spring semesters, providing care service for the children of students, faculty and staff. Children between the ages of 2 and 9, provided they can use toilet facilities, will be accepted. Information on enrolling a child, and the fee schedule are included in the Parent Handbook, available in the Sitter Service, the Dean of Students Office or Student Support Services.
Student Activities and Athletics
(LSF 111A, Ext. 5273) During the year, the University sponsors a variety of cultural, educational, social and recreational activities.
Cultural Programs
A variety of special events and programs are sponsored throughout the year. These programs range in interest and variety from creative lecture presentations and entertainment to theater and minority cultural events. For more information see the Campus Calendar on the PNC Web site.
