Purdue University North Central will host a Homecoming Event with a
fireworks show on Friday, Sept. 13, at 6 p.m. on the PNC Westville
campus. This event has been created to start a tradition of welcoming
students back to campus each fall and allowing the university’s alumni,
students as well as community members to engage in an event that brings
a sense of spirit and community to the PNC campus.
The evening will begin at 6 p.m. with food available for purchase
from participating vendors and live and local bands performing until 8
p.m. Attendees are encouraged to arrive before 6 p.m. to find suitable
parking. The festivities will culminate with the fireworks beginning
after dark. This event is free and open to the public with the
exception of any food purchased from participating vendors.
The electrifying fireworks show presented by BaddaBoom Fireworks
will be set to music and is appropriate for all ages. Guests are
encouraged to bring lawn chairs, coolers and blankets for the event.
Purdue North Central is a smoke-free and alcohol-free campus.
In case of rain or questionable weather,
activities will be held Saturday, Sept. 14. Information will be posted
by 10 a.m. on the PNC website at www.pnc.edu regarding any cancellations.
