Media Services

 

Equipment requests should be made via the Request Equipment page, and should be submitted far enough in advance in order to ensure time for equipment availability and setup. We greatly appreciate being given notice of an upcoming class or event at least 24 hours in advance.

The Media Services Department will contact the requesting faculty/staff member to confirm that his/her equipment request has been approved and put on our schedule. There is no charge for classes or campus-related events. Equipment is loaned based on availability and assigned on a first come, first served basis.

It shall be the responsibility of the faculty/staff member to make certain that the door to the room is closed and locked at the conclusion of his/her class or event. Keys to classrooms may be obtained by making a request through a faculty member's department secretary. Professors are asked to turn off LCD projectors on Computer Smart Carts when they are not in use. Faculty members should not disconnect cables from any equipment carts and should never push a cart into a hallway.

If the faculty/staff member requests a piece of equipment for off-campus use, he/she is required to complete and sign a copy of Form 12, which is available for download here (and also on the S: drive in the Accounting folder). The faculty/staff member must return the equipment to us by the date and time specified on the Form 12.
