2009 Summer Session II (8-Week)

May 1: Fees payable for students who advance registered for 8-week session
June 8: Classes begin
June 8-10: Late Registration and Drop/Add*
June 12: Last day to drop a course without the course being recorded on the student record.
June 19: Last day to add a course, change course level, or change pass/not pass option. Last day to drop a course with an automatic grade of "W" recorded on the student record, unless the student is classified as a freshman.
July 3: Independence Day; No classes, offices closed
July 17: Last day to drop a course
July 28: Classes end for 8-week session
July 31: Finals end for 8-week session

2009 Fall Semester

Aug. 7: Fees payable for advance registration for Fall. After August 7 payment is due at time of transaction.
Aug. 24: Classes begin
Aug. 24-28: Late registration and Drop/Add for Fall Semester*
Aug. 24-27: 8 a.m.-6 p.m.
Aug 28: 8 .m.-4:30 p.m.
Sept. 4: Last day to drop a course without the course being recorded on the student record.
Sept. 7: Labor Day Holiday; No classes, offices closed
Sept. 18: Last day to add a course, **change course level, or change pass/not pass option
Sept. 18: Last day to drop a course with an automatic grade of "W" recorded on the student record, unless the student is classified as a freshman.
Sept. 21-Nov. 20: Dropping a course; Instructor must indicate whether passing or failing if the student is not classified as a freshman.
Oct. 12-13: Mid-semester break
Nov. 20: Last day to drop a course
Nov. 25-27: Thanksgiving Vacation; No classes
Nov. 26-27: Offices closed
Dec. 11: Classes end
Dec. 18: Finals end

*students who register late will be charged a non-refundable fee of $25 per course to a maximum of $100.
