Why an MBA?

In today's economy, business professionals need to be flexible to respond quickly to new opportunities and challenges. The Master of Business Administration degree has become the recognized credential for leaders throughout business, industry and the non-profit sector. The MBA prepares students with the skills they will need to assume leadership positions in a variety of organizational settings - skills like critical thinking, organizing, problem solving, communicating, budgeting, planning, supervising, leading, and team building.

 

What are the Benefits?

  • CONVENIENCE: Purdue is ready when you are, with a schedule designed to meet the needs of working adults. In the fall of 2006, the program will be offered in a combination of distributed education and classroom experiences to allow you to complete your degree without disrupting your employment.
  • ACCELERATED FORMAT: The program will be offered on Saturdays at Purdue North Central -
    Porter County. Organized into 10-week terms beginning in October, January, April and July, the MBA curriculum can be completed in as little as 18 months! The October term ends at least one week prior to the Christmas-New Year holiday.
  • FLEXIBILITY: Whatever your baccalaureate field, you may apply for, and be successful in, this innovative MBA program.
  • STATE-OF-THE-ART FACILITIES: Classes will meet at Purdue North Central - Porter County, a modern corporate training facility with the latest in educational and business technology. As a Purdue student, you will have full access to the university libraries, online resources, computer systems and other forms of academic support.
  • EXPERT FACULTY: Each faculty member in the program is certified by the Graduate School in West
    Lafayette and is supported by the full teaching resources of Purdue University.
