Training sessions currently being offered at PNC include the following:


Web Accessibility Workshop
This session is designed to provide participants ith the knowledge, skills, and tools to ensure compliance with the University Web Accessibility Policy. According to the policy, deparments are to submit a Web Accessibility Status Report Form annually with the most recent deadline being May 1, 2012.

Recommended Audience:
All PNC employees are welcome. Employees who maintain departmental webpages are strongly encouraged to attend one of these sessions.

Session Objectives:
After attending this session, participants will be able to:

  • Become familiar with the Web Accessibility Policy
  • Understand the reporting requirements
  • Become familiar with the electronic and information technologies accessibility standards
  • Create accessible electronic documents
  • Utilize techniques and tools to update web pages to comply with policy
  • Implement WAVE on your workstation

Harassment & Discrimination Prevention

Date, Time, Location:
This training is being offered during departmental meetings.

Goal:
To provide participants with knowledge and skills that will prevent harassment and discrimination in the educational and work environment at PNC.

Recommended Audience:
Faculty and staff

Session Objectives:
After attending this session, participants will be able to:

  • Define discrimination & harassment
  • Understand Purdue anti harassment & amorous relationship policies
  • Understand behaviors that may be perceived as illegal
  • Describe Purdue procedures for resolving complaints of harassment and discrimination
