Priority deadline for submitting requested information and/or documents to complete your financial aid file to best ensure aid is available prior to the start of the semester.

Deadline for payment of your bill for tuition and fees for the semester

Aid Disbursed (posted) to students’ accounts (10 days prior to the start of the semester).  Note:  You must confirm your enrollment and accept your charges prior to the invoice due date each semester in order for your aid to post to your account.

August 16, 2013

January 3, 2014

Financial Aid refunds issued to eligible students via paper check or ACH
(e-refunding) on a weekly basis beginning this date*.   Paper checks will be available for pick up at the Bursar’s Office beginning the first day of classes.

Census Date.  Financial Aid eligibility reviewed and revised, as necessary, based on student’s enrollment as of census date.

September 10, 2013

State aid eligibility reviewed based on student’s enrollment at the end of the university refund period (end of 20% refund period).  Students no longer enrolled full-time (minimum 12 credit hours) will lose their state aid but may qualify for a part-time state grant.

*Financial Aid refunds are issued to students whose refundable aid is greater than the total amount due on their bill at that time.  Financial Aid refunds are based on aid eligibility at the time the refund is issued.  Should there be a change in your enrollment or other eligibility factors your award will be revised.  Any refund issued to you that you may not be eligible to receive must be returned to the University.
