Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education

student teachingPurdue North Central offers a program of study leading to a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education. The plan of study consists of general education requirements, requirements for the major, and elective courses to bring the total credits to 131.

A student must meet gate requirements in order to proceed to the next gate in their education degree. 

Graduates of the Purdue University North Central Elementary Education program become effective educators, committed to continuous growth and school reform. They will be literate in their specific content area(s) and have knowledge, skills, and dispositions to help diverse students become successful young adults. The PNC Elementary Education program is designed to meet the outcomes of the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE).
