About this site

The use of technology in the classroom has become a necessity in today's educational environment. In order to assist the faculty in their efforts to enhance their teaching using new technologies, this web site has been created to:

  • Promote the effective use of technology in education
  • Use appropriate instructional design strategies
  • Facilitate communication and establish peer support among those who teach
  • Empower individuals who teach to efficiently use University resources in and beyond the traditional classroom environment

This web site provides a variety of resources for faculty designed to enhance student learning through the use of technology.

The site has also been designed to introduce students to online learning with a list of the courses offered each semester, some FAQs to see if they should enroll in an online course and an orientation for those students who are new to online learning.
