Distance Education at PNC - Course Offerings

PNC offers students two options for alternative course formats. Both options make use of the Internet for part of the course presentation.

Option 1 - Online Courses
Students enrolled in these courses do all of their course work on-line. Most professors require that the students come to campus to take tests and professors are always available on-campus for help with course material. On-line courses are listed in the course schedule as Internet Courses.

Option 2 - Blended Courses
These courses are a blend of on-line and on-campus instruction. Students will meet on-campus at the time listed in the course schedule, and will have other assigned work to do on-line. Your instructor will tell you how to find the on-line work when you meet on-campus. In some cases, on-campus work is done in laboratories, in other cases the on-campus class meets in a regular classroom as listed on the schedule. If you have questions concerning your class, contact your instructor. Blended courses are called Blended in the course schedule.
