  • New Technology Available for Checkout Return to E-Newsletter
  •        The Office of Learning and Technology has a check-out program that allows faculty to checkout a variety of hardware to enhance their teaching.  This is a great opportunity for faculty to try out the tools and see if they are a good 'fit' for their curriculum.

    Headsets- Several headsets are available for faculty to checkout and use to create instructional screencasts and/or conduct online office hours or virtual sessions.  The new and improved headsets have a USB connection, which produce a high-quality audio output.

     

    tablet Bamboo Connect Tablets- These can be used to add writing to a live lecture presentation or pre-record the sketching of math equations, etc. with instructor voiceover and can be posted as videos in Blackboard for students to view anytime.  Have a minute?  Learn more!

     

    iClickers- A trial set of iClickers can be checked out for 3 days at the library front desk on a first-come first-serve basis.  This is a great way for instructors to try them out before adopting to see if they are an appropriate fit for their curriculum or to simply liven up a lecture.
