Online Academy for Effective Instruction

The PNC Online Academy for Effective Instruction was offered during the spring, summer, and fall 2011 semesters. A new section was created in Blackboard Learn and offered during the summer and fall semesters of 2012. Enrolled faculty members learned how to design and develop a distance learning or hybrid course, as well as how to enhance their face-to-face courses using Blackboard- all while using strong pedagogical principles.

The Office of Learning and Technology provided support, expertise, and guidance for Academy members.

SPRING 2013- a new section of the Academy will be open to all faculty. This will run from February 4th through April 15th 2013. To enroll, please contact Erin White, Coordinator of Learning and Technology.
