Current Outstanding Issues-
Make sure to visit

learn about any troublesome issues that we are
experiencing, as well as tips on how to plan
accordingly.
Create a Master (DEV)
Course-
this will allow you to create a
developmental area that you can later "copy" into your
live course.
Move Files into Learn

Password Issue-
due
to the fact that BB Learn authenticates through
West Lafayette, you may need to change your
password if you are NOT able to access your
Learn courses (see PDF below for instructions):
Help your students get
started-
consider sending the below
pdf as an attachment to your students via the
Banner email option at least a week or two prior
to teaching your course in Learn. We also
recommend placing a link on the home page of the
Vista course that tells them to
go to mycourses.pnc.edu to log into your course
(since in fall 2012, courses will still be
created in both systems).
Enrollment Manager-
enroll course graders, builders,
instructors, TA's, etc. into course.
Video- Enrollment Manager
LockDown Browser
(require students to
use LockDown broswer when they take an exam
in Blackboard)
Date Last Accessed
When a student withdraws
from a course, you may need to dtermine the
date they last accessed the course in BB
Learn.
Make Course Available/Unavailable
Create a Course Welcome Banner

Create a Custom Banner
Faculty can create custom banner images and
upload them into each of their Blackboard
Learn courses. These banners can be
saved online and edited each semester, if
desired.
