Accessing Your WebMail Account
- (On Campus) Log on to a computer
- Click on the Internet Explorer icon
Log on the Purdue North Central home page at www.pnc.edu
- Click on the Students, Faculty & Staff link
- Click on the MY PNC logo
- Type in your User Name and your Password and click on the Login button
Compose an Email Message
- Click Compose
on the left side of the screen
- Type the recipient's email address
Or
Click Address Book
to find recipient's address
- Type Subject
- Type Message
- Click Send
Add a Signature to Your Message
- Click Options
at the top of your screen
- Click Mailbox Management
- Under Add signature to outgoing messages, click Yes
- In the Signature field, type the text you want to appear at the bottom of your messages
- Click Save
Read a message
- Select INBOX on the left side of the screen
- Click on the message you wish to read
Reply to a Message
- Open a message from the Mailbox
- Click Reply
- Type your response
- Click Send
Forward a Message
- Open the message you wish to forward
- Click Forward
- Type the recipient's email address
- Type the message
- Click Send
Send Attachments
- Create a new mail message
- Click the Attach button to open the Attachments dialog box
- Enter the file name of the attachment, or browse through the files to locate the document
- Click the Add button
- Click OK
Delete Messages
First Time Only:
- From you Mailbox, Click Options
at the top of your screen
- Click Mailbox Management
- Under Mailbox Settings you will find "Immediate purge of deleted messages". Check Yes
- Click Save
After Preferences have been set messages will always be deleted in the following manner:
- From the INBOX , click the checkbox to the left of each message you want to delete
- Click the Delete button
- The message will be permanently removed
Print a message:
- Click the message you wish to print
- Click Print
Exit WebMail:
- Click Exit
