Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Troubleshoot and repair computers in campus computer labs.
- Help sustain satisfaction of lab users, both Faculty/Staff and students.
- Help implement annual redistribution of lab computers.
- Promote a professional, yet friendly and helpful academic environment.
- Clean computer lab equipment and Kiosks in SWRZ, LSF, and TECH buildings.
- Attend training sessions and staff meetings.
- Be responsible for working scheduled hours.
OTHER DUTIES:
- Communicate with IS staff to ensure reliability of campus computer lab equipment and network connections.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Prior experience working with computer hardware and software is required.
- Positive attitude and desire to assist others.
- Ability to work as part of a team.
- Enrollment in at least one PU/NC class per semester.
- High school diploma.
- Aptitude to learn about computer hardware and software.
HOURS:
- Working at least one 4:30pm - 8:30pm shift per week is required.
- We will work with you to come up with a schedule which is mutually beneficial.
- We do prefer you are available for at least 10 hours per week.
- The maximum hours you may work per week is 40.
