Access Your Network Drives From Home

Information Services offers a way for faculty, staff, and students to securely access their network drives (I:\, K:\, S:\ and W:\ for faculty & staff and H:\ and I:\ for students) from home, using your web browser!

Requirements:

• A connection to the Internet

Accessing NetStorage:

• Log on to the Purdue University North Central home page 
• Click on the MyPNC icon
• Type in your Username and your Password and click the Login button
• Click on the tab named NetStorage
• You will see a screen like this:

Using Your Web Folders

• Once you have logged in, you can navigate to your files by double-clicking on the folders.
• To Download a file:
  • Left-click once on the filename to select it
  • Move the pointer over the File menu
  • Left-click on Download
  • Follow the prompts to save the file on your local computer
  • Edit the file in the appropriate application (e.g., MS Word or Excel)
• To Upload a file:
  • Left-click once on the filename to select it
  • Move the pointer over the File menu
  • Left-click on Upload
  • Follow the prompts to select the file on your local computer
  • Left-click on the Upload button

General Information

• Remember: Use your PNC username and password to log in and access your network drives (H:\, and I:\)
• Faculty and Staff will also have access to their S:\ and W:\ drives.
