Access Your Network Drives From Home
Information Services offers a way for faculty, staff, and students to securely access their network drives (I:\, K:\, S:\ and W:\ for faculty & staff and H:\ and I:\ for students) from home, using your web browser!
Requirements:
- A connection to the Internet
Accessing NetStorage:
- Log on to the Purdue University North Central home page
- Click on the MyPNC icon
- Type in your Username and your Password and click the Login button
- Click on the tab named NetStorage
- You will see a screen like this:

Access Net Storage directly
Using Your Web Folders
- Once you have logged in, you can navigate to your files by double-clicking on the folders.
- To Download a file:
- Left-click once on the filename to select it
- Move the pointer over the File menu
- Left-click on Download
- Follow the prompts to save the file on your local computer
- Edit the file in the appropriate application (e.g., MS Word or Excel)
- To Upload a file:
- Left-click once on the filename to select it
- Move the pointer over the File menu
- Left-click on Upload
- Follow the prompts to select the file on your local computer
- Left-click on the Upload button
General Information
- Remember: Use your PNC username and password to log in and access your network drives (H:\, and I:\)
- Faculty and Staff will also have access to their S:\ and W:\ drives.
