Information Services - Changing Your Password on Campus

If you don't know your username and/or password, bring a picture ID to the Help Desk, Tech 265, and a technical assistant will help you.  We will provide you with a temporary password that is only active for 24 hours.  You can then proceed to login to any PC on campus to change the password within that timeframe. 

  • Press CTRL+ALT+DEL keys (hold all three down together).
  • Type in your username and temporary password.
  • Click OK.
  • A pop up box will appear saying that the password has expired, you have 5 grace logins and do you want to change your password.
  • Click Yes.
  • In the appropriate boxes, enter your new password twice. (Remember:  Your password must have at least 8 letters and/or numbers but not more than 14, have no capital letters, no symbols, and be something that you have never used before.)
  • Click OK.  
  • Wait a few moments for the programs to load and then you will be able to access your account.
