Benefits eligible employees, retirees and their spouses may receive one free screening per calendar year.

An HRA (health risk appraisal) will be available after the completion of your screening. This HRA will be offered again on-line via StayWell. Look for details of the Healthy Purdue 2008 program via the Healthy Purdue Link on the right.

ALL RESULTS WILL BE MAILED TO YOUR HOME!

The screening includes a basic CBC (complete blood count) and a LIPID PROFILE/CMP (complete metabolic profile) which tests: glucose, triglycerides, cholesterol, HDL, LDL, heart, liver, kidney enzymes, electrolytes, and much more.
*10-12 hour fasting required for accurate results

SCREENING COST MORE INFORMATION
CBC (Complete Blood Count) & CMP (Comprehensive Metabolic Profile) FREE once per calendar year to PNC employee & retirees that are benefit eligible, and now new: to spouses of employees and retirees. Others: $44 Identifies anemias, some cancers such as leukemias and lymphomas; evaluates blood loss and response to infection. Often used as a general screening test before surgery or as a part of a routine medical checkup.
PSA (Prostate Specific Antigen) FREE once per calendar year to PNC male employees & retirees 50+ yrs. old that are benefit eligible. Others: $24 The PSA is most effective when used in conjunction with the DRE (Digital Rectal Exam). See your physician for the DRE.
Hemoccult (Colon-Rectal) FREE once per calendar year to PNC employees & retirees that are benefit eligible. Others: $10 You may pick up this at-home test at the Screening.
Thyroid Profile (T3, T4) $20  
Hypothyroid (T3, T4, TSH) $29  
Crp High Sensitive
(C-Reactive Protein Test)
$24 CRP- is a test which measures the concentration in blood serum of a special type of protein produced in the liver that is present during episodes of acute inflammation or infection. For more information click on the link to the left.
