PNC’s Employee Assistance program is a means for employees and family members to receive help with personal or human problems.

ELIGIBILITY
Benefits eligible employees and their legal dependents are eligible to utilize this program. Family members are included because often an employee’s job performance problem stems from a family member’s personal problem.

CONFIDENTIALITY
If you call the Employee Assistance Program, no one at PNC will know you are using the program unless you tell them. Although PNC pays for the services, management is only informed of the number of hours used each month. They are not provided with the names of individuals who have used the services.

COST
This confidential program is FREE.  Purdue University North Central will cover the cost.  The first visit begins with a comprehensive evaluation.  The IMPACT EAP counselor considers individual needs when determining if the need for further sessions. If outpatient counseling is recommended, you may schedule up to six 50-minute sessions.

The EAP program is not covered by insurance.

HOURS
The Stress Center’s regular office hours are 8:00 am – 8:00 PM Monday through Thursday, and from 8:00 am – 5:00 PM on Friday. You and your therapist will arrange the most convenient time for you. In case of an emergency, the Stress Center has a 24-hour crisis line. A crisis can be dealt with after hours by calling the Stress Center.
