Blackboard Vista - Content Manager

Create File

  1. From the My Blackboard page, select the Content Manager tab.
  2. Select the Create File button.
  3. Enter a name.
  4. Create the content in the HTML Creator box.
  5. Select the Save button.

Create Folder

  1. From the My Blackboard page, select the Content Manager tab.
  2. Select the Create Folder button.
  3. Enter a name.
  4. Select the OK button.

Delete File or Folder

  1. Verify that you are on the Content Manager page.
  2. Select the checkbox next to the desired folder(s) or file(s).
  3. Select the Delete button.
  4. Select the OK button to confirm the deletion.

Get Files

  1. Verify that you are on the Content Manager page.
  2. Select the Get Files button.
  3. The Content Browser appears.
  4. Select the file(s) you want to get. (Select the Class Files tab to access files from course sites. Use the My Computer tab to access files on your computer.)
  5. Select the OK button. The file(s) will be copied to the My Files area.

Move File

  1. Verify that you are on the Content Manager page.
  2. Select the checkbox in front of the file you desire to move.
  3. Select the Move button.
  4. The Content Browser appears.
  5. Select the desired move location.
  6. Select the OK button.
