Blackboard Vista - Assessments

Information Services Links

Create Assessment

  1. Verify that you are on the Build tab.
  2. Select the Assessments link.
  3. Select the Create Assessment button.
  4. Enter title and other appropriate settings information.
  5. Select the Save button.
  6. Locate the assessment that you just created and click on the linked title of the assessment.
  7. Select the Create Questions pull-down button and select the desired question type.
  8. Enter the required and desired information. Select the Save button.
  9. If applicable, to select existing questions from the question database, select the Add to Assessment pull-down menu and select the Existing Questions option.Select the checkbox next to the desired questions. Select the Add Selected button.
  10. If applicable, to add a question set from the question database, select the Add to Assessment pull-down menu and select the Question Set option. Select the checkbox next to the desired questions. Select the Add Selected button.
  11. Once you have finished creating your assessment questions, click the ActionLinks arrow next to the assesment title and select the Edit Properties link.
  12. Enter the required and desired setting information.
  13. Save the Save button.

Grade Submitted Quiz

  1. Verify that you are on the Teach tab.
  2. Select the Assessments link.
  3. Select the assessment you want to view and click on the ActionLinks arrow.
  4. Select the View Sutmissions link.
  5. Select the student attempt you wish to grade under the Attempt heading.
  6. Select the Update Grade button once grading is completed.

Reset Quiz Assessment

  1. Verify that you are on the Teach tab.
  2. Select the Assessments link.
  3. Locate and select the desired assessment name.
  4. Select the View Submissions button.
  5. Select the checkbox next to the desired student names.
  6. Select the Reset Entire Submission button.
  7. Select the OK button to confirm reset.

View/Download Assessment Results

  1. Verify that you are on the Teach tab.
  2. Select the Assessments link.
  3. Select the assssment you want to view and click on the ActionLinks arrow.
  4. Select the Report Type radio button.
  5. Select the Run Report button.
  6. Select the Download Records button.
