Gail Snyder, a former classroom teacher and mother of 3, has for the past 10 years put her degree in Elementary education and learning disabilities to work as an Educational Consultant for Discovery Toys. Her passion is teaching parents how to play with their children and why play is so important in child development.

The Importance of Learning Through Play

Participants will learn why it is vital to a child’s development to have structured and unstructured play. The importance of a balanced play, diet and how it impacts the various stages of a child’s development will be discussed.
