Dr. Schroer is a gradute of the University of Cincinnati where he was active in the Center for Peace Education and Research. He has presented several times at peace conferences on works related to Peace Education and France. His current research interests include promoting peaceful argumentation during cooperative learning activities at the elementary level. .

Peacebuilding in the Early Childhood Classroom

This presentation is centered on promoting best practices in the area of peace education for young children. Through shared experiences of other attendees and the presenter, attendees will learn about research based best practices, and will be able to take away practical conceptions of promoting peace to use in the classroom.
