Deborah Chubb has been the Executive Director of Imagination Station for over ten years. Imagination Station is a NAEYC-Accredited, State Licensed Center and a level 4 Paths to Quality Provider. She studied Early Childhood Education at National Louis University, then received a law degree from Valparaiso University School of Law. She has been active in environmental issues and organizations, serving on the board of directors of Save the Dunes Conservation Fund for seven years including three years as President of the Board. She also serves on the board of directors of the several organizations including LaPorte County Coalition of Youth Serving Agencies, League of Women Voters of LaPorte County, Coffee Creek Watershed Conservancy, Indiana Association for Licensed Child Care Centers and committees such as Michigan City Chamber of Commerce Community Involvement, Michigan City High School Early Childhood Development program Advisory committee and Parent Network and United Way of LaPorte County 2011 Campaign.
Erin N. Crofton is the Education Director for Save the Dunes. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Purdue University North Central. Erin is a Certified Interpretive Guide through the National Association for Interpretation and worked as an Interpretive Naturalist at the Indiana Dunes State Park prior to serving Save the Dunes. Erin has managed the Education Program since it’s inception in 2007 and has provided meaningful outdoor experiences to thousands of children in Northwest Indiana. Erin received an Environmental Education Excellence Award from Michigan City Area Schools in 2008. She currently serves on the board of the Indiana Dunes Learning Center as well as the Indiana State Water Pollution Control Board
