Tobacco Cessation Resources for PNC Employees and Students
National Opportunities
Smokefree.gov provides online resources to assist participants to quit smoking. It also offers a free instant messaging feature to speak directly with an expert who can help provide support.

State Opportunities
The Indiana Tobacco Quit line offers phone counseling and web-based services to clients who are pregnant, on Medicaid, or uninsured.

St. Anthony Memorial Cardiac Center
“No Ifs And or Butts”
Two options available: 1.) A series of 3 one to one sessions with a facilitator followed by 3 brief follow-up checks, either by phone or in person. 2.) A group class with six sessions.

Free monthly classes, Each quarter one series is offered from 12pm-1:30pm; otherwise the classes are held from 6-7:30pm in the Heritage Place building first floor.
Onsite classes are offered to area companies for a fee.

Complementary Care cessation-related services include acupuncture treatment, as well as the following natural products to help you quit smoking: Tobaccostat, Rescue 5, SGRMTB, STRSPLX, and Powerplx.

Porter County Offerings
Porter Hospital
Freedom From Smoking classes offered. Class fee is $25.00 (refundable upon completion). 4-week sessions are offered every other month. The next round of classes will start November 7th. Classes will be held on Wednesday evenings 6:30-7:30p.m.
