12 Days of Wellness Holiday Health Promotion Program

This is the fourth year The 12 Days of Wellness has been run during the holiday season here at PNC. Here is the description of the program:

The PNC Employee Wellness Program is always looking for ways to promote the health and wellness of the employees of the campus. For most people, it can be difficult this time of year to keep one's health in check with a lot of things going on, a lot of food and lack of outdoor activities. This program is supposed to be a helpful tool in keeping things on the right track with one's well being.

This year, the PNC Employee Wellness Program invites you to participate in The 12 Days of Wellness. The following is a description of the program and what you'll need to do to participate:

• The 12 days will begin on Thursday, December 4th and end on Friday, December 19th. (Weekends will not be counted in the 12 days)
• Each day of the program will bring a new page to the PNC wellness site. Each day will include a wellness tip related to nutrition, exercise, general health, stress management, physical fitness, etc.
• Each day will also have an ACTIVITY for you to complete. Examples include: taking your vitamins, stretching exercises, breathing exercises, and other things that you can do to check on your state of wellness. All activities will be relatively easy.
• You will need to print the calendar and record the activity as described.
• Send your completed sheet to Todd Laux in SWRZ 25 R via campus mail or drop it off in the HR office by 10:30 am on the 19th. 
• If you complete at least 10 of the 12 activities, we'll clip the coupon from the calendar, and you will be able to choose from 1 of 3 prizes available at the completion of the program. 
• Only one day will be added to the web-site at a time, so you can't get ahead. However, once pages are up they will remain on-line, so if you start late or get behind, you'll have time to catch up.
• Pages will be added to the web site by 10:00 am of each new day. You can start at any time during the 12 days.
