Medical Coverage
Purdue gives you several medical options from which to choose. Choice gives you flexibility - and with flexibility comes responsibility.

You're responsible for choosing the medical plan that's best for you and your family. You're responsible for understanding your chosen plan so that you get the full benefits of its features and for keeping up with which providers are in your plan's network.

2013 Coverage:

Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)
The FSA program lets you pay for certain expenses with tax-free money. When you choose to participate, you elect to have salary deducted from your paycheck, before it is taxed, and directed to your FSA. This untaxed money is then available to reimburse you for certain health card and dependent care services provided during the calendar year.

Coverage & Resources:

Vision Coverage
Purdue uses the Vision Service Plan (VSP) to provide coverage for all benefits-eligible employees and their dependents who are enrolled in a Purdue medical plan.
