Faculty and staff members have the opportunity to recognize one another's efforts through the "Thumbs Up" page. All faculty and staff may nominate professional staff, service staff, and clerical staff co-workers!  Nominees will have the chance to win a $50 semester award. 

 

Matt Gourley - Submitted 02-09-12 - Service

Since Matt has been hired, he has improved technical support at the PPC while performing some extra reporting duties while he's working on Saturdays. Matt's work ethic and customer service skills are impressive.

David Cadwell - Submitted 02-09-12 - Professional

Dave Cadwell has developed a PNC campus technology planning system. He meets annually with Administrative department heads to show them a computer inventory by employee and then provides minimum PC recommendations. The departments then purchase new PCs and redistribute or upgrade older machines in a common sense fashion. This saves the university money and helps keep desktop machines newer during a time of tight budgets.

Kyle Mulcrone - Submitted 02-07-12 - Professional

Kyle's never content to simply do what is expected of her. She always goes above and beyond what is asked of her. For example, every time I asked a question about benefits, she goes far beyond providing a generic answer to the question. She does research and gives a very comprehensive answer rather than asking me to find the information on the web. She certainly deserves kudos for the excellent job she is doing in Human Resources.

Lynn Foreman is truly dedicated to our PNC students. She is patient and kind when she discusses student accounts, scholarships, financial aid and other forms of assistance with our students. She is all about educating students and parents so they understand and are comfortable with the college.

Dawn Madura - Submitted 02-02-12 - Service

Dawn Madura goes to great lengths to communicate IT problems that involve multiple individuals and campuses (e.g. W. Lafayette, Regionals). She deserves a Thumbs Up for her consistent efforts to document these issues so they eventually find resolution. She also puts in countless hours of work to hire, train, and schedule IS student workers. Great effort.

Bryan Campbell - Submitted 02-02-12 - Service

Bryan Campbell goes the extra mile for PNC technical events. He volunteers after-hours events and learned how to operate the PA system when the AV department merged with IS. Bryan is the guy in the background a lot of people don't notice, working tirelessly to get events completed in a professional and flawless manner. The most recent Martin Luther King event is a great example. Thank you, Bryan.

Tiffany Dombrowki has taken on many extra assignments in the IS department and has quickly become a vital asset to the PNC Community. She fills in for other IS staff, takes on AV events with confidence, and goes above and beyond every day. I just can't say enough good things about her work ethic. Tiffany is a tremendous asset to PNC and deserves a thumbs up for her efforts to exceed expectations.

Keri is the Director of Student Activities by title, but truly she is a counselor, advisor, cheerleader, and friend to many many students.
