Bachelor of Arts in Communication
The B.A. in Communication degree emphasizes courses that explore the variables in communication processes in settings ranging from interpersonal communication to mass communication. Students will learn by examining such processes and making practical applications of theory to a wide variety of contexts.

Minor in Communication
For students earning degrees outside of Communication only. This minor provides students with an opportunity to select Communication courses best related to their areas of interest and academic pursuit. Individual courses relating key concepts, theory and skills in interpersonal communication, mass communication, quantitative and qualitative research methodology, presentational speaking, persuasion, organizational communication, and emerging communication technology applications are among the course topics from which students may choose.

Business and Professional Communication Certificate
Generally, students earn this certificate to complement another degree, such as the Bachelor of Liberal Studies, or the Bachelor of Arts in English or Organizational Leadership and Supervision. The certificate acknowledges that you have taken several courses that enhance your written and oral communication skills - something that is vital in any field of employment.
