Research Project:
IRB: Joanne has talked to Jeff Bailey on the IRB, and he suggests that we go “exempt” in order to expedite approval of this research project. Hence, Joanne will take steps to insure that proposal is approved by IRB board during the week of April 17-21, 2006. Hopefully we will be able to administer campus survey during the week of April 24-28, 2006.
All students wishing to participate in survey project must go on-line to IRB training, at CITI Program. Org and fill out questionnaire for participation.
SURVEY: Recruitment of survey takers will be conducted during the last 10-15 minutes of each class randomly chosen. Annette will inform professors of the change in dates and administration of survey. No one under the age of 18 can participate in the survey. Survey results will be published in the school newspaper in the fall of 2006.
METHODS & LITERATURE REVIEW: Done.
INTRODUCTION: Joe will meet with Joanne for some changes to be made in the Introduction Section of Proposal, however, this section is not needed for submission to the IRB for their initial approval.
