Cheryl W. DeLeon, is currently an Assistant Professor of Psychology at Purdue North Central where she has taught various lower and upper division psychology classes since 2005. She received her PhD and Masters Degrees in Life-Span Human Development at West Virginia University while specializing in Infant Development.

The presentation will explore how everyday experiences can be overwhelming for some infants given the temperaments they are born with. It will discuss the importance of “goodness of fit” that parents, teachers, and other caregivers must provide for infants in their care.
