B.A. in Elementary Education from Knox College.  Education and Outreach Coordinator for WNIT Public Television in Elkhart, IN, since 2005.  Previous education experience includes teaching kindergarten and junior kindergarten for six years in public and private schools in Chicago, working as an environmental outreach educator at the Kalamazoo Nature Center, and running the after-school learning center at a Boys & Girls Club.  Has presented at the IAEYC conference in Indianapolis, the Community Coordinated Child Care (South Bend) mini-conference, the Indiana University-South Bend Early Childhood Conference and the Sturgis, Michigan Kiwanis Parenting Fair.

Are You "Ready to Learn" About What's Cooking in Childcare?

WNIT Public Television’s “Ready to Learn” outreach service, with the help of your loveable pal Global Grover, will teach caregivers how to use PBS Kids shows, along with fun cooking activities, to get kids learning about everything from cultural diversity to early literacy.  Every participant will receive a children’s book.
