Kid Friendly Ways to Promote Personal and Social Skills |
All behavior occurs in the context of thoughts, feelings, circumstances and coping skills. “Misbehavior” is a child’s way of communicating that he has not mastered necessary skills in coping or relating to others. Simply dealing with the behavior without addressing the underlying skill deficits is frustrating for educators and discouraging in children. This workshop offers enjoyable, kid-friendly and classroom friendly methods for teaching social and emotional skills.
