Dana Jones is originally from Lake County, Indiana, but now lives in Indianapolis, Indiana. She holds a degree in child development and in business administration. Dana has worked in Licensed Child Care, Unlicensed Registered Ministry and has mentored Family Child Care Providers.
Dana has spent time in the classroom and also as a facility administrator. She has worked at the Child Care Resource and Referral as an Education Specialist and mentor. She has also worked for First Steps as a Service Coordinator and supervisor. She has worked as a Quality Advisor for Family Child Care Accreditation through IAEYC and a CDA Advisor.
Dana is currently an Early Childhood Specialist at the Indiana Department of Education working with Developmental Preschools and Title 1 Preschools. She serves on the Committee on Childcare and is working on various projects with several agencies throughout the State of Indiana.
