Deb DeFoor has a M.S. in Education from Purdue University and is currently pursuing a Ph.D in Educational Psychology from Purdue West Lafayette with a specialization in Early Childhood Education. Deb is a continuing lecturer of Education at Purdue University North Central. She has taught The Inclusive Classroom for Elementary Education Preservice Teachers for the past four years. Deb also taught full day kindergarten for 9 years at Westville Elementary School.

Participants will be introduced to the functions of the brain, the impact music has on the brain, and how to create a brain compatible learning environment.
