American Sign Language: New Beginnings
Did you know that 1 in 10 persons in the US are hearing impaired? Knowing and using ASL can help you communicate better with family members, friends and especially with customers and co-workers. This introductory class will expose you to the basics of ASL.
You will learn ASL fingerspelling, vocabulary, numbers, grammatical structures, and conversational behaviors. The program also introduces cultural knowledge of the deaf Community.
