Odyssey 2002

Stephen Hokanson

Stephen Hokanson's painted steel work, Cosmos and Chaos, is intimately situated close to the north end of the Technology Building. The two vertical columns represent the state of orderliness and harmony - cosmos - and the horizontal element approaches a state of confusion, or chaos.

Hokanson's work is displayed in a number of mostly Midwestern venues. He also is senior preparator at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago.
