in Ciel (Sky Arch) is Bill Barrett's contribution to Odyssey
2002. This elegant fabricated bronze piece provides an
intimately scaled framework for the viewer to observe the sky.
Barrett's style comes out of the classic lineage of American
modernism that stems from Cubism. With its many angles, twists
and turns, it nevertheless maintains an inviting balance.
Barrett
resides in New York City and Santa Fe. His work appears in more
than 40 permanent collections, nationwide.
