PNC Representative Named to ICC Advisory Council

Westville – Laura Weaver, Service Learning coordinator for Purdue University North Central, has been named to the Indiana Campus Compact (ICC) Advisory Council.

This six-member council is composed of representatives from the ICC member campuses. Weaver was selected for the council based on her experience and knowledge of the field of service and civic engagement, as well as her ability to provide leadership and skill sets to the ICC staff and ICC members throughout the state.

The Advisory Council members serve in an advisory capacity to ICC and have input in programming, strategic planning, feedback on ideas and outreach to other members.

Indiana Campus Compact supports higher education's efforts to develop students into well-informed, engaged citizens. By providing programs, services, and resources, ICC serves as a catalyst for campuses and communities to improve people's lives through service-learning and civic engagement initiatives.

In 2010, ICC touched the lives of 59,745 individuals across the state through grant programs, professional development opportunities, resources, and networking.
